On January 31st, 2007, the Newfoundland & Labrador Employers’ Council recognized Colemans, Fugro Jacques GeoSurveys Inc., and Husky Energy as the 2006 Employer of Distinction recipients.
Newfoundland & Labrador Employers” Council President Marilyn Tucker commented on the recipients, “There has been a lot of talk recently about the draw of Western Canada on our workforce. I think our recipients this year demonstrate that it is possible to compete against the big western dollar by creating positive work environments. It is truly amazing to see the lengths that these employers have gone to in their attempts to create progressive employment relationships.”
